Rafting on the Jaramento river with Salta rafting was one of the best days we spent in Argentina. The Jaramento river is surrounded by hills and history. We were lucky with the weather. It was a warm sunny day, the bright light reflecting on the water and a thousand white butterflies gave the start of the journey a dreamlike quality. I can’t swim and I have never rafted before. Although I felt a bit worried before we got on the river once on the river it was exhilarating and great fun. I would definately do this again.

My friend and I loved Salta Rafting! The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. We felt safe throughout rafting and zip lining. If you go rafting you get a discount on zip lining – I definitely recommend it! We went on a cold day but that didn’t stop us from rafting or jumping in the water. Roberto was a great guide. During our rafting trip we learned about geography, birds, wildlife, and culture. Roberto and Hector were so helpful during zip lining. It was my first experience and I am hooked! Great meal afterwards as well.

We went here as a family with our 9 year old boy. Our guide Steffy was really nice and professional in instructing us and made sure it was an unforgettable experience. She keept an extra eye on our son and made sure he wad always safe and enjoying the trip.

The rapids are category 2 and 3, perfect for us as beginners. It was still quite wild, do you really felt challenged still.

If you have the possibility for taking a trip with Salta Rafting: JUST DO IT (and bring your kids).
